A conceptual e-service quality model for career sites

Despite the increasing number of publications in e-recruiting and e-service quality, little research has been conducted on factors determining e-service quality for career sites in specific. In this paper, models for determining website quality and thus factors influencing e-service quality as well as determinants for successful (e-)recruitment have been investigated by conducting two systematic literature researches in the fields of e-service quality and (e-)recruitment. The dimensions found were compared and where possible combined to ensure determining factors which applied to career sites specifically. The resulting model contains seven dimensions: 1) quality of information, 2) security/trust, design of a website regarding 3) appearance and 4) useability), 5) enjoyment/entertainment, 6) system quality and 7) customer service.
